How to Use
Paste CMS Text — Copy the full order detail page from CMS and paste it into the text box.
Extract & Generate — Click the button. The tool pulls out the client, order #, defendant, DOB, SSN, case number, case type, court, and state automatically.
Select Request Category — Choose what you're asking the court for (e.g. Verify Identifier, Case Information). Pick a sub-type if prompted.
Court Contact — For VA and LA, this fills in automatically. For all other states, type the contact method (Phone, Fax, or Mail) into the Court Contact field and hit Apply.
Make Payment — Defaults to Yes. Change if needed and hit Apply.
Copy Subject — Copies the subject line to your clipboard. Paste it into your email.
Copy Body — Copies the email body to your clipboard. If any fields are still blank, a yellow warning lists them — fill them in before sending.
Save .txt (optional) — Appears after you edit the subject or body. If you customized the template for a specific court or request, save it — your edit may be included in the next patch.
Court Auto-Fill
When you extract a case, the tool checks the state and automatically fills in the Court Contact field if that state is in the dictionary. Currently supported:
VA (Virginia) — 18 Circuit Courts on file
LA (Louisiana) — 14 Parishes on file
Click the VA or LA chips in the Court Dictionaries card to see the full list of courts and their contact methods.
Requesting a Court Addition
If your state or court isn't auto-filling, here's what to do:
Note the exact court name as it appears in CMS (e.g. "Chesterfield General District Court").
Note the contact method — Phone with number, Fax with number, or Mail.
Send both to your team lead and request it be added to the dictionary.
Once added, it will auto-fill for everyone on the next reload — no individual setup needed.
